The cooperative manages and rents out apartments at cost and promotes cooperative activities in the settlements. The cooperative is not profit-oriented.
Membership Requirements
- Joining the cooperative is generally required to rent an apartment.
- Taking over cooperative shares (membership share) worth CHF 300.00.
- Additional housing shares, the amount of which depends on the apartment’s investment costs (5x the net rent).
- One-time admission fee of CHF 150.00.
- Members must live in the rented apartments themselves and have their civil-law domicile there.
- Foreign nationals are subject to the restrictions of the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad.
- A written application to join is required.
- The board decides on admission.
