The DOMINO project in Riehen is a residential development created from the former Dominikushaus nursing home after 54 years. It was transformed by Wohnstadt together with Salathé Architekten, following a study commission.

The project is presented as an example of architectural upcycling, circular use of materials, and high residential quality in the Basel region. The reuse concept, based on the targeted re-use of the building structure and numerous components, was consistently implemented.
