Project

The cooperative is developing its first settlement on Romanshornerstrasse with a total of 75 apartments. The first construction phase of 45 apartments is scheduled to be ready from September 2026. The cooperative will rent new-build apartments at cost-oriented rents. Tenants are required to subscribe mandatory share certificates (Pflichtanteilscheine); subscriptions from pension fund assets or Pillar 3a are possible.

Construction and energy

The entire settlement is built to Minergie-P standard. The apartment buildings are constructed in a hybrid method (concrete slabs / exterior walls in timber element construction); the row houses are solid timber. Heat generation is via geothermal probes. Photovoltaic elements on the roofs produce electricity for own consumption.

Apartment features

All apartments have a large dining and living area, bathrooms with level-access showers and a storage room (Reduit). Private outdoor spaces are located on loggias with balcony cupboards and in some cases small balconies. Floors are finished with oak parquet; ceilings are exposed concrete with a whitewashed finish. Windows are made of painted solid spruce; walls are covered with white painted variovlies wallpaper. Fitted kitchens have ceramic worktops and are equipped with a dishwasher and an oven. Apartments are accessible via the open stairwell or by lift.

Community facilities

The settlement courtyard serves as a communal area and provides garden beds and seating areas for shared use. Each building has a shared laundry room in the basement. The former care home houses various communal rooms as well as rentable guest rooms, attics and commercial spaces.

Rentable parking spaces are available in the underground garage. Provision of charging stations for electric cars is possible.
