The building was redeveloped by Wohnstadt together with the competition-winning team Salathé Architekten into a residential project that emphasizes upcycling, circular construction practices and resource conservation. The Re-Use concept—targeted reuse of the building structure and numerous components—is a central element of the project.

The project includes apartments, townhouses and a distinctive pavilion apartment with a carefully considered layout. The architecture was modernized to provide flexible living space that is quiet, close to nature and well connected.
